European edition of the ...

„Discover e-volunteering” is a competition with a mission. Its purpose is to promote community involvement in the Internet and to show the most interesting examples of projects involving virtual volunteers; to show how NGOs may organise and benefit from the e-volunteers’ cooperation.

Each organisation who cooperate or have cooperated  with volunteers through the Internet may take part in the competition*. Projects involving e-volunteers may be either single actions, periodical activities or permanent cooperation; they may concern any area of community involvement.

This year, on the occasion of the European Year of Volunteering 2011, the Good Network Foundation and Fundacja Orange are organising special edition of the competition addressing all the countries of the European Community. Each organisation operating there may fill in a simple application form and take part in the competition; at the same time, an available to all Internet users data base on the best e-volunteering practices is being built.

The Competition is organised in cooperation with European partners, and its main purpose is promotion of the best practices and informing public opinion about the advantages of e-volunteering, and – of course- awarding the best projects!

Call for proposals to the European edition of the competition is open from May 25 till September 16, through the on-line application form available at www.e-volunteering.eu/competition/add/. The pre-selection of the best e-volunteering projects shall be made by the international Selection Committee: selected projects shall be put to the on-line voting, take place at the www.e-volunteering.eu/competition website.

Winners of the competition shall be officially announced in November 2011, during the Final Gala of the Competition in Warsaw.

 * Projects currently implemented or already accomplished may take part in the Competition, provided that the date of completion is no earlier than January 1, 2010.

Après le succès des deux premières éditions polonaises, la Fondation Orange en Pologne et son partenaire le « Good Network Foundation » ont décidé d’organiser un un appel à projets à l’échelle européenne pour valoriser les projets qui s’appuient sur des activités de bénévolat en ligne grâce à l’internet. 

Du 25 mai au 16 septembre 2011, toute organisation non gouvernementale ou association,  enregistrée dans l\'Union Européenne, peut participer au dispositif en soumettant son projet de bénévolat en ligne sur le site http://www.e-volunteering.eu/competition

Cet événement est relayé en France par la Fondation Orange en partenariat avec l’association France Bénévolat.

Objectifs de l'appel à projets
Promouvoir le bénévolat en ligne, faire connaître les avantages du cyber bénévolat et, bien sûr, récompenser les meilleures pratiques !

Prix
Le montant total des prix s'élève à 6 000 euros.

“Discover e-volunteering” è stato lanciato per promuovere l’attività sociale su Internet.

L’obiettivo è di mostrare attraverso una serie di esempi pratici le iniziative più interessanti legate all’attività di volontariato via Internet, in che modo le organizzazioni non governative possono organizzare e trarre vantaggio dalla cooperazione dei volontari online.

Dopo due edizioni realizzate solamente in Polonia, in occasione dell’Anno Europeo del Volontariato, quest’anno il concorso è aperto a tutti gli Stati membri UE.

I progetti in cui sono coinvolti i volontari può assumere la forma di un’azione occasionale, un ciclo di attività o attività permanenti, e possono essere legate a qualunque settore o area sociale. Il premio ammonta a 6000 euro.

Deze wedstrijd wordt georganiseerd door De Good Network Foundation in samenwerking met hun partner de Fundacja Orange. De wedstrijd is één van de vele activiteiten onder impuls van “2011, Europees jaar van het vrijwilligerswerk”.

E-vrijwilligerswerk verwijst naar taken – die vrijwillig verricht worden zonder winstoogmerk, in georganiseerd verband en ten behoeve van andere mensen of voor de samenleving -- die geheel of gedeeltelijk gebeuren via internet.

Zijn er vrijwilligers in jouw organisatie die bloggen, promomateriaal ontwikkelen, research doen, educatieve opdrachten vervullen, enzovoort door gebruik te maken van het internet? Let op! Er is geen financiële tussenkomst voorzien. Alle eventuele kosten worden dus door de deelnemende organisaties zelf betaalt.
